1. Definitions

  1. Service – the website available at https://db.vin, providing information about vehicles (hereinafter referred to as “Vehicle Data”).
  2. Service Provider – Autoiso Sp. z o.o., registered at ul. Gnieźnieńska 12, Katowice, 40-142, Poland, Tax ID (NIP): PL6342976575, REGON: 386039655, KRS: 0000840558, e-mail: pomoc@autoiso.pl.
  3. User – any individual accessing or using the Service.
  4. Database – the collection of information gathered, displayed, and maintained within the Service, protected under applicable law, particularly copyright and database protection regulations.

2. General Provisions

  1. These Terms define the principles for the provision of electronic services by the Service Provider in accordance with the Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of electronic services.
  2. By using the Service, the User accepts these Terms.
  3. The Service is informational in nature and does not conduct sales of vehicles or act as an intermediary in transactions.
  4. The Service allows indexing by search engines and data analysis systems (including AI models) in accordance with applicable robots.txt standards.

3. Scope and Nature of Services

  1. The Service Provider offers: a) a vehicle search engine and catalog,
    b) vehicle/model cards with technical specifications, descriptions, and/or estimates,
    c) aggregations, summaries, and market analyses.
  2. Displayed information may include production year, specifications, mileage, indicative prices or price ranges, photos/thumbnails, descriptions, and summaries.
  3. All estimates and analyses are for informational purposes only and do not constitute advice or assurance as to the condition, value, or availability of any vehicle.

4. Technical Requirements

  1. To use the Service, the User needs an Internet-connected device, an up-to-date browser (e.g., Chrome/Firefox/Safari/Edge), and JavaScript enabled; some features may require cookies.
  2. The User bears any data transmission costs according to their Internet provider’s terms.

5. Rules of Use

  1. The User agrees to use the Service in accordance with the law, good practices, and these Terms.
  2. The Service Provider allows automated indexing of publicly available Service content by search engines and indexing bots that follow the robots.txt protocol (e.g., Googlebot, Bingbot, OpenAI Crawler, etc.), provided that such actions do not cause excessive server load or aim to mass-download data contrary to the purpose of indexing.

6. Intellectual Property and Licenses

  1. The layout, compilation, descriptions, analyses, estimates, and software of the Service are works protected under copyright law and/or database rights.
  2. Trademarks and other identifiers are used solely for identification purposes — all rights belong to their respective owners.

7. Vehicle Data – Nature, Accuracy, Sources

  1. The Service Provider exercises due diligence in preparing and presenting Vehicle Data, but does not guarantee its completeness, timeliness, or accuracy.
  2. Data may change, and displayed values (e.g., prices, mileage) are for informational purposes only.
  3. The Service does not disclose its data sources or methodologies for obtaining individual records, unless required by mandatory law or a final court/authority decision.
  4. Upon request by authorized authorities or in cases provided by law, the Service Provider may supply relevant information to competent bodies.

8. Liability and Availability

  1. The Service is provided “as is.” The Service Provider makes no guarantee of uninterrupted availability, full device compatibility, or error-free operation.
  2. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service Provider excludes liability for indirect damages, loss of profits, or consequences of decisions made based on information from the Service.
  3. The Service Provider may temporarily restrict or suspend access for technical, security, or maintenance reasons.

9. Reports, Corrections, and Complaints

  1. Reports concerning errors, legal infringements, or third-party rights (e.g., copyright, personal rights) should be sent to: pomoc@autoiso.pl.
  2. A report should include a description of the issue, URL, justification, and contact details of the reporting person.
  3. The Service Provider reviews reports and complaints within 14 business days and replies to the provided e-mail address; additional information may be requested if needed.
  4. In cases of probable infringement, the Service Provider may immediately restrict access to disputed content (notice-and-takedown procedure).

10. Data Protection and Cookies

  1. Data processing principles (including IP addresses, cookie identifiers, and server logs) are defined in the Privacy Policy available at: https://db.vin/en/privacy-policy.
  2. Use of the Service may involve storing cookies on the User’s device — details are provided in the Privacy Policy.
  3. If the Service uses third-party tools (e.g., analytics, security), their scope and purposes are described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Amendments to the Terms

  1. The Service Provider may amend these Terms for valid reasons (e.g., legal changes, expanded functionality, compliance with case law).
  2. Updates are announced by publishing a new version on the website with a revised date in the “Last updated” section.
  3. Changes take effect upon publication and do not affect Users’ acquired rights.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

  1. These Terms are governed by Polish law, subject to mandatory provisions applicable to consumers.
  2. Disputes shall be resolved by competent common courts in accordance with applicable regulations.

13. Final Provisions

  1. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in force, and a new provision as close as possible to the intent of the original shall replace it.
